Edades en desarrollo (11 a 18 años): Existen posibilidades de uso de dispositivos de presión no invasivos (específicamente para Carinatum). * Después de los 18 años: Con el crecimiento óseo completado, solo se pueden ofrecer procedimientos que van desde lo mínimamente invasivo hasta la reconstrucción completa del tórax llamada Condroplastía de Ravitch. Cada caso debe ser valorado en forma particular para definir la mejor opción de tratamiento.
